Im not even vegan and I actually enjoy the food here! First time visiting their Montclair Branch and i love that there is ample street parking as well as residential parking. The place is nice and clean too with an upper level. Service was quick and we got our food right away starting with the fried sweet potatoes. It was nice and crispy and was a good to share. The sauce was just okay. Before, at their Denville branch, i tried their Beef curry and actually enjoyed it. Here I ordered the Ting Ting Two flavor and finished the whole thing myself lol it had “beef” and “chicken” meat that if you dont pay very close attention you probably wont notice its not real meat at all. The sauce was nicely done, very flavorful, and worked well when paired with rice. The coconut cake and cheesecake we had for dessert was also very good! I didnt expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Another enjoyable visit yet again at Veggie Heaven!

This restaurant is our favorite when our family heads to NJ. The food is delicious, healthy, the place is clean and the people are friendly. Last time we went we tried a sushi pizza and it was so good! All the food is plant-based and many recipes contain animal product substitutes. It is a perfect spot for people you want to go away from.or.reduce meat consumption. But it is also a great place for the plant based eaters put there :)

This is the BEST Chinese Restaurant in the WORLD! The Owners make you feel like family. My family & I have been going here for 10+ years. The best tasting plant based food, before PLANT BASED food became popular. I wish I could put 100 stars! Go forth & enjoy great food, atmosphere, and people.

I have been here several times. Recently for Mother's Day. My daughter brought me here today for lunch for my birthday. As usual it was good service, good food and a good atmosphere. Generous servings and I usually have something left to take home, today also. I had my favorite desert here too, green tea cake.

I’ve been coming to veggie heaven montclair for over 10 years, and it has never disappointed. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I especially appreciate that they offer vegetarian sushi options, which are hard to find done this well. The atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and inviting, making it a place I truly enjoy returning to again and again. Highly recommend.

This place checks all the boxes. Delicious innovative meatless food - the dumplings are especially good! They were cutely being assembled behind us. Great service (my water was never empty). Feels like you’re eating at family’s home. And don’t sleep on the cake! Definitely go here.

Veggie Heaven absolutely blew me away. This was hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had — and the fact that it’s all vegan is just mind-blowing. Every dish was packed with flavor, and you would never guess it’s entirely plant-based. It’s such a gem, especially for anyone who’s vegan or just looking to try something a little different. I highly recommend starting with the super scallion pancakes. They’re crispy, savory, and totally addictive. We also ordered the Ting Ting Two Flavor, which was incredibly flavorful with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The textures and seasoning were spot on. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and really well executed. The staff was so kind and welcoming. You can tell they care about the food and the experience. Service was quick, and they were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The vibe in the restaurant was cozy and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal that still feels special. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is worth checking out. I’m already planning my next visit because I left full, happy, and totally impressed. Veggie Heaven lives up to its name!

This eatery comes up in conversation, so I decide to check it out, especially due to a curiosity before the conversation about the possibility of Vegan Rib Tips existing. During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating the menu. Employees may refer to Rib Tips as Spare Ribs. The flavor, in my opinion, between the Vegan and Non-Vegan Rib Tips, are the same. There is no bone or cartilage in the Vegan Rib Tips though the harder texture (of bone/cartilage) is possible to attain if one eats the meal at a latter time (without reheating though without refrigerating). The Vegan Rib Tips are so delicious; more sweet than savory, chewy though not gum, and offering a wonderfully satisfying flavor. The Calamari is so good; more savory than sweet, tastes like Non-Vegan Calamari more so in the aftertaste though like Calamari (87%) and Shrimp (13%) in the beginning ànd middle taste, the crisp is light, not heavy on my stomach, what a wonderfully satisfying combination. The Mixed Vegetable Soup is like Hot Vegetable-Infused Water, very soothing to sip within bites of the Calamari and Rib Tips. The Mixed Vegetable Soup is like a tea of the meal, good at any time warm. I find the meal so good, I intentionally save about half to eat with a dinner portion of home cooking. Good Vibes. The establishment accepts different forms of payments. The establishment has a variety of seating options.
